Aakash Tablet Specifications and Price- World’s Cheapest Tablet

India has launched the World’s Cheapest tablet computer and it is priced at $35 for students and $50 for the commercial version. It was last year when the first prototype was released by the HRD ministry of Govt of India. The tablet runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and comes with host of features for its price.

The device will be sold as DataWind Ubislate for Rs 2999 inclusive of taxes and will be available from Nov.2011.
