Olive is all set to launch India’s first 4G enabled (HSPA+) phone with Aircel. HSPA+ network is 3G networks, and enables maximum downlink speeds of up to 14 Mbps and uplink speeds of about 5.8 Mbps. This new smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm.

The phone will be launching with Aircel, but one thing which is not sure is Aircel’s HSPA launch. As if today Aircel does not offer any 3G services and have not released any time plan for the same.

The launch will happen on Feb 9th 2011.
