Samsung had announced new Android phones under the Galaxy series and one of them was Galaxy Mini. Now this phone is available for purchase in India soon and the model is named Galaxy Pop. The entry-level Android smartphone is available for pre-order for Rs. 8,999 (roughly $200), taxes included. The phone is powered by an ARM 600MHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Even though it’s a low-budget phone, Galaxy mini features HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, along with 160 MB of internal memory and microSD card for memory expansion.
