We have already heard at the CES keynote that there would be an update to Windows Phone 7 OS in January 2011. This update is crucial as it brings in the much awaited copy paste feature to Windows Phone 7. Here are the details on the updates Windows Phone 7 would be getting.

Copy and paste

Soon you’ll be able to copy text from emails, text messages, web pages, and Office Mobile documents, and paste it anywhere you can type.

Faster apps and games

With the new update, the time it takes for apps and games to start up and resume is reduced.

Better Marketplace search

The marketplace search is now streamlined to make it easier to find specific apps, games, or music. Press the Search button in the apps or games section of Marketplace and you’ll see only apps or games in the results.
