3G services are fast catching up in India after the auction. Tata Docomo has launched the 3G services few weeks back and also Airtel is planning to launch it this month. Reliance has also launched 3G services in 4 cities Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chandigarh. Reliance claims that the 3G network is capable of offering peak speeds upto 28 Mbps.

If you are Reliance user, you can start using the 3G services in these cities, as of now there wont be video calling, but this would be enabled soon.
