Within hours of release of Android Gingerbread 2.3, XDA Forum member has ported the developer build to HTC Droid. This ROM is a very early testing build of Gingerbread and is basically its for playing. The developer says not to expect it to work, be fast, or be useful for any reason.

The download links are available here. Since the ROM has already been ported to Droid Eris, we can expect a stable build soon.
