If you use Google’s Gmail account either at work or home, you can configure to send and receive your emails in Windows Phone 7. Depending on the email account you set up on your phone, other items from your account (such as contacts, calendar and more) can appear on your phone as well. You can easily configure your Gmail account in Windows Phone 7 using the steps mentioned below.

1. From Start, flick left to the Applications list, scroll down to Settings and then press Email & accounts.

2. Click on Add an account > Google.

3. Press the Email address box and then type your Google account user name and your password.

4. Press Sign in.

Your Google Mail email and contacts in your Google account will be synchronised to your phone.
