Android seems to be the most sought after OS and now Acer has announced a new smartphone with 4.8’’ inch screen which is the biggest screen for any phone launched so far. It comes with both smartphone and tablet PC capabilities in the same device, especially since considering its large 4.8-inch widescreen with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1024 x 480 pixel resolution.

It has a 2MP front camera for video calling and on the back, the handset sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with LED Flash.

It also features HSDPA @ 14.4, WiFi N, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity option and it is powered by 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

There is no information on the pricing and the new device should be released on the market sometime in April next year.
