Windows Phone has many new features available and one of them is the changing the background color or theme. Windows Phone 7 comes with least 10 colours that you can use as your accent colour. You can easily change the color scheme in Windows Phone 7 following the steps mentioned below.

The color changes happens everywhere on your phone including the applications. You can also choose between black and white for your phone’s background.

To change the accent colour;

• From Start, press the arrow to go to the Application list, then press Settings.
• Press Theme.
• Press the Accent colour list.
• Press the colour you want to use, then wait a few seconds or press the Back button . You will see the new theme colour in the highlight sentence.

To change your background theme

• From Start, press the arrow  to go to the Application list, then press Settings .
• Press Theme.
• Press the Background list.
• Choose one of the following:
• To make your background black, press Dark.
• To make your background white, press Light.
