Airtel has announced an unlimited 4Mbps broadband plans starting at Rs 899. The new plans are tagged as ‘Impatience Plans@4Mbps’. Airtel’s ’Impatience Plans@4Mbps’ is currently available in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai Only. There are basically 4 plans available for 4Mbps speed.

Now what’s the catch in these high speed plans? Obviously its the download cap, the 899 plan can only download upto 6GB a month with that speed, when it goes beyond the plan’s allotted usage, you are downgraded to 256Kbps speed with unlimited plan.

The Rs 1799 plan looks pretty decent which has 50GB download limit and it should be sufficient for a normal web user.
