The mobile version of the popular web browser, Firefox is in development stage. With Firefox for Maemo just round the corner with RC3 and also a Windows Mobile version is under development, Mozilla is looking to bring Firefox to Android. German Firefox community site has posted that Firefox for Android could hit some time in February. Work on this version has started sometime back in December and we might have a first usable version soon, it could be pre alpha version.

The website also says that the current development version just installs on Android and does not render any webpage and it might take months before the alpha version is out. The version which might be available next month should at least have been able to display web pages.
You can check the Firefox page for Android Phone here. If you are using the Nokia N900, you can download Firefox for Maemo 1.0 Release Candidate by visiting Firefox.com/m on your Nokia N900.
