Cowon S9 Curve is a beautiful looking Portable Media Player (PMP) with a 3.3-inch 16 million color scratch-resistant touchscreen and this will be available for purchase this month. Cowon has finally made this thing official, given it a release date and priced it – in Korea. On December 16th, a week from tomorrow, Koreans will be finally be able to purchase the player. As for pricing, the S9 will come in three flavors:

• 4 GB – 219,000 won ($150)
• 8 GB – 259,000 won ($178)
• 16 GB – 309,000 won ($212)

There is no official word on the release in other countries.
