Kogan officially announced their $199 Australian Android handset ,Kogan Agora which is Australia’s first Android smartphone. Kogan Agora and Kogan Agora Pro, the two versions of the smartphone, can be purchased by both Australian customers and international buyers. Both the versions are sold unlocked. While Kogan Agora costs 299 AUD ((~ 192 USD) the other version Kogan Agora Pro costs 399 AUD (~ 256 USD). The international buyers have to pay an extra shipping tax of around $30.

The Agora seems to be a blend of Motorola Q, a Samsung BlackJack and a BlackBerry and it clearly pay justice to the figure in its price tag.The smartphone will be reach you only after January 29, 2009, even if the orders are placed now.
