Samsung Omnia will be shipped as early as November 26 and Verizon Wireless brick-and-mortar stores will be getting stock around December 8. Seems like it will be a decent alternative to the leading touchscreen smartphones in the market. The main and attractive among all the features of Samsung Omnia is its TouchWIZ UI. With this feature it will be real competitor to Apple’s iPhone 3G.

The features of Samsung Omnia:
- 3.2-inch touchscreen
- 3G data connectivity
- GPS
- WiFi
- 5 megapixel autofocus camera
- optical mouse
- accelerometers (for screen-rotation detection)
- 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage – all powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 with Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI riding on top.
The online sales of Verizon’s Samsung i900 Omnia will start on November 26. The deal is for a $249.99 (after $70 discount) price-tag when purchased with two-year contract.
